Nestled on S Semoran Blvd in Orlando, FL, Cafe De Colombia Bakery is more than just a bakery; it's a warm embrace of Colombian culinary tradition. This charming establishment beckons with the tantalizing aromas of freshly baked goods, welcoming locals and tourists alike into its cozy confines.

Your senses will be delighted by the diverse array of baked goods that capture the heart of Colombian flavors. Start with a bite of the Pan De Bono, a cheese bread that melts in your mouth, or indulge in the Palmerita Grande, a generous serving of the iconic elephant ear pastry whose flaky texture and sugary finish are simply irresistible. For those seeking something unique, the Pastel De Guayaba Y Queso offers a perfect balance of sweet guava and creamy cheese—a combination that showcases the bakery's commitment to authentic flavors.

But that’s just the beginning. The menu bursts with delightful options, from the addictive Chicharrón De Guayaba pastry to the subtly sweet Pan De Coco. If cookies are your weakness, the Galletas Paquete De 3 comes in a moreish trio, perfect for sharing (or not!). Each bite is a reminder of home for many and an invitation for newcomers to experience Colombian culture through its food.

Real customers echo the bakery’s appeal. Take it from Ramiro Fernandez, who raves about their amazing tamales and empanadas, declaring that it's worth a lengthy drive just to enjoy these specialties. Moreover, LinaGoma G. highlights the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, particularly Yennifer, whose smile seems to embody the spirit of hospitality that defines this gem.

While some reviews indicate a shift in staff and service quality, indicating a possible transition from small business charm to more corporate practices, there remains a strong core of passionate service from select team members who continue to cherish customer experiences. Romi Gonzalez champions the bakery's fresh offerings, asserting it's better than any other Latin bakery in town—a testament to the quality that Cafe De Colombia strives to maintain.

In addition to its bag of baked delights, the bakery also serves as a gathering spot for a community hungry for authentic flavors and heartfelt connections. Great Colombian food, pastries, drinks and tamales Vallunos, BTW the tamales were amazing and only $8 it almost felt unreal, filled with quality meat and flavorful mass, definitely worth driving there for over 30 minutes drive. Their empanadas were great as well. Will go back whenever we are in this State.

The appearance and overall feel has changed. Not sure yet if it’s for the better. Big push on reward points now and asking to scan the different QR codes to leave reviews. It was 11am and they were out of arepas de choclo which was disappointing. The salsa (picante) for empanadas is now in a prepackaged fast food-style packaging that adds to the more commercial/chain feel this place was giving off today. Overall, the food quality appeared the same although they had never been out of arepas in all the years I’d been by. They seem to have done some rebranding. Service was great, friendly. Hope they don’t steer too far off from the homemade vibe they gave off for years previously.

The food is amazing. Their recent change in staff has been noted, unfortunately more in a negative way. The service and attitude is hit and miss, at best. Very few employees are very friendly and helpful. Others, on the other hand, are very arrogant and lack the desire to help customers. The change from small ownership to corporate ownership has been noticed. I've been coming to Cafe Colombia since 2008 and I typically make purchases over $50-$75, as I don't live close by and I freeze what I buy to make it last a while. I love the food, bread, and pastries.
